revdb_closecursor

Summary​

Executes the revCloseCursor command.

Syntax​

revdb_closecursor(<recordSetID>)

Description​

Use the revdb_closecursor function to clean up after using a record set.

Evaluating the revdb_closecursor function has the same effect as executing the revCloseCursor command. The only difference is that one is a function call and the other is a command.

Important

The revdb_closecursor function is part of the Database library. To ensure that the function works in a standalone application, you must include this custom library when you create your standalone. In the Inclusions pane of the Standalone Application Settings window, make sure both the "Database" library checkbox and those of the database drivers you are using are checked.

Value​

The revdb_closecursor function returns an error message if the closure is not successful. Otherwise, it returns empty.
